Do we have to follow the rules?

I posted two faves in the TDIH (10/31/79 and 10/31/83), and would add a third, 10/31/80. Has that been mentioned?

This makes at least three recs for 10/31/90. That one clearly needs to go on the To-Do List!

Also never heard 10/31/71, which is apparently a terrible oversight. Must correct.

Never saw a Halloween show, either. Boo hoo. Unfortunately can't correct that one ...

Great post/thread below AR; sorry to have missed it due to ? looking at an unrefreshed screen, I guess. Sorry to be rude (even if it was a carelessness, not a maliciousness)...

Oh, I always assume that if someone doesn't read my posts, it's out of sheer maliciousness! (Bwaaaaa haaa haaaa, I'll never read her posts, and THEN she'll suffer ...) I would never trust an alternate explanation. Like, going out for dinner :-)

Actually, IMO, the more recs the better. Been organizing my file of what I have/what I want to check out/get, and feeling (a) proud of how organized it all looks now, and (b) rather like Cliff's Hero. (No 10/31/71?!? I need more shows!)

I always fig'd the only way to deal with someone not reading my posts was to post even more; clearly, I've carried that too far, and of course, it goes against many of the group endorsed guidelines discussed of late, including my own suggestions. But, I don't want to turn into one of those hobgoblins of consistency Rob mentions now and again, so I figure the least I can do is continue to be blathering on about something and I'll eventually find some kernal of interest to someone here.

Maybe not? But, you can, at some future point, discuss whether this is "designed posting strategy" to garner webfriends, a flawed biz'ness plan of sorts, or just another example of a pathetic loser on a keybd. Hey--they might all be true, eh?

Another pathetic loser on a keyboard?

I wish I had your confidence...

Confidence in my status as pathetic loser with keyboard? You are too kind, sir; rest assured, you can be confident of that, if little else here at the Forum. If Dire were about, the two of us might have a battle on our hands claiming the pole position in that particular race, but he's MIA of late...

yes, not to rub it in, but you absolutely must hear 10/31/71... the Dark Star is easily a top 10 all time version! exceptionally melodic interplay occurs in its second half which contains the best 'feeling groovy' jam ever! (of course, this is all imho)

and i don't want to spoil all the fun but i think you'll really dig the rockin' versions of NFA>GDTRFB>NFA too.

as you may have guessed, this is my favorite Halloween show recording.

as far as live, i was too young :(
